Our History

In its humble beginnings, API began in 1973 as an aluminum vent supplier to the building industry. Located in Alexander, North Carolina, former owner Dexter Benecke, named the company "Alex Products" after its previous location. The name stuck and with a change in ownership in 1984, David Von Deylen became a partner and present owner.

The once simple machine shop that started in 1984 became a place where customers could rely on high quality and precision in every part.
