About Us
Alex Products is a world-class manufacturer of automotive seat frames, tooling and automation. API’s specialties include: Tube forming, wire forming, metal stamping, MIG and resistance welding. API also provides full service e-coat and powder coat finishes.

The success of Alex Products is directly related to our ability to build quality machines that can handle the most challenging customer requests. In our 55,000sqft technology center, we develop our own innovative tooling solutions that produce industry leading quality products at the lowest cost possible.
API has developed a culture of quality. This starts at the beginning of a project with engineering staff, and continues all the way through the tool design and construction. We achieve this by engaging our customer at the product design level to ensure our tool designs begin and end with the customer’s requirements in mind.
Alex Products is recognized by Johnson Controls our largest customer as the “Best of the Best”. API has achieved the Gold Award 11 years in a row. No other supplier has achieved this level of excellence. The Gold Award is comprised of several factors including Quality, On- time delivery and continuous improvement.
